Abstract

This article discusses efforts to improve the understanding and financial recording of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of the BukuKas application. Good financial records are essential in running a business in order to calculate profits and losses more accurately. However, the majority of MSMEs still use manual and simple methods in recording their finances. In this community service activity, training on the use of accounting software, especially the BukuKas application, was conducted for MSME players in Kuala Lumpur. This training includes how to make simple records related to accounting, stock management, interpretation of financial statements, and online product promotion strategies. The results of this activity show that MSME players can easily perform financial records using the BukuKas application. They can record sales results, expenses, payables, and receivables digitally. By using this application, MSME players can better understand their cost of goods sold, purchases, and daily sales. In addition, the use of the BukuKas application also helps MSME players in preparing financial reports correctly and quickly. With this training, it is hoped that MSME players can improve their understanding and skills in managing business finances. This is expected to increase revenue and maximize profits for MSMEs. In addition, the use of the BukuKas application can also make it easier for MSME players to see their business profits.
