In this research paper, we will review and discuss English as a world language, knowing that it is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Language is considered a mirror of the mind and language is part of communication. English belongs to the Indo-European language family. English is a branch of the Germanic language family. This article is divided into his three main sections:
a) the first section is an introduction, then English as a World Language, b) English as a lingua franca, and c) the future of English. English as a world language has aroused the interest of many scientists and learners. I am a firm believer in the value of the English language because it seems like an endless world and offers great opportunities for international collaboration and communication. Today, many countries are paying attention to using English as a world language, and every country needs English as an additional or second language. To represent English as a world language.
